These actions provide both economic and environmental benefits for the company.
3. Neutralization in External Carbon Market
For emissions that cannot be avoided, projects are financed to prevent or absorb an equivalent amount of CO2 elsewhere.
These projects can include:ReforestationRenewable energyAgricultural methane recovery
• By financing these projects, the company obtains carbon credits equivalent to the tons of CO2 avoided.
4. Creation of a Hybrid Preserve Park
Acquisition of parks with potential in the medium/short term to generate the company’s own carbon credits.
Creation of a project that combines the business with the possibility of offering research or recreational uses for employees or students at this site while the project takes shape.
Once the project is mature, it will be in a position to issue its own credits, providing self-sufficiency and true freedom to be a self-sustaining, carbon-neutral company.
5. Carbon Neutrality Self-Sustainability
Obtain certifications or seals that recognize the company’s carbon neutrality.
These seals recognize organizations that calculate, reduce, and/or offset their carbon footprint.
They also facilitate access to new markets and business opportunities.
